The Foundation for Rotational Leadership and Democracy Limited (FOROLEDE) is an organisation founded by Bishop Flemings Mtonga and his team on the 2nd of June, 2017. It is a non-political and non-profit making organisation that seeks to see the Nation of Zambia become the most Peace-loving Nation, with a united people through its tribes or ethnic groups. The vision is to make Zambia become the best Nation to live in on planet Earth, where its Citizens are tolerant of each other’s divergent views on various issues. The Foundation believes that, this can and should be achieved through Rotational Leadership and Democracy. For this to happen, the Foundation for Rotational Leadership and Democracy is convinced that the current democratic system should accommodate the aspect of give-and-take, from all political players by: (a) Ensuring that this kind of Democratic system becomes Law and (b) Rotating the Presidency and the Vice Presidency respectively from Province to Province. This will require massive patience and the spirit of selflessness from all well-meaning leaders in the political fraternity with hearts of putting Zambia’s Peace, Love and Unity first. Enactment of this democratic system of Rotational Leadership into law will result into all regions in Zambia having a real sense-of-belonging. The accomplishment will not only be a great milestone for all Zambians but, a paradigm-shift that will permanently resolve the current adverse atmosphere of tribalism, politics of regionalism, ethnicism, violence, mistrust and unnecessary suspicion. 2. A BEACON OF PEACE AND UNITY The Nation of Zambia is one of the leaders in this world which has a very rare comparative advantage when it comes to peace, tranquillity, unity and stability under the motto of “One Zambia One Nation”. As a result, the aura has ever since after obtaining self-rule been of love, tolerance, understanding that, though different in tribes, cultures and traditions brought together as ONE ZAMBIA.
